GTP Publishing is always looking for well-written work from both new and established authors. Here is a list of the criteria to look at before you submit a story:

Please note we are not accepting erotica or historical romance at this time.

  • What is the minimum book length that GTP Publishing will consider?
    • Minimum 35k, unless you’re taking part in a scheduled anthology. The ideal manuscript is 40k – 70k long.
  • Is the book finished?
    • If yes, then absolutely! We don’t take unfinished works.
  • But what if the book is incomplete, but is meant as a Vella submission?
    • The book still needs to be complete so it can be fully edited.
  • Does GTP Publishing work with new authors?
    • Of course! The book doesn’t have to be perfect, so long as it’s well-written. We will edit your book and help you polish it until it shines.
  • Please note we do not accept books with the following
    • Any form of sexual activity of any kind involving individuals under the age of eighteen.
    • Any books which offend or align any particular group of people (race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, etc.)
    • Any form of spanking or corporal punishment to individuals who are under the age of eighteen
    • Books that are written outside of the romance genre
    • Books that fall under the horror category
  • How do I submit a book?
    • Send your finished manuscript to us at: submissions@gtbpublishing.com with your author name and title in the subject line and the following information in the email. Please note that manuscripts must have gone through a self edit before submission.
      • Book Title and if relevant, series title and number
      • Word Count, and chapter count
      • Genre and subgenre
    • You will receive an acceptance or rejection notification within a month of submission. If you submitted a manuscript more than a month ago and have not yet been informed as to whether or not it has been accepted for publication, please contact us!
  • How am I paid?
    • We pay the author monthly from a calculation of 60% of all royalties which are received by GTB Publishing and all of our imprints from the sites where books are sold.
  • What if I need to get in contact with someone at the publishing house?
